The profit requirement resets after every approved payout; a qualifying day means $200+ in profit. Sources: rules page and the Help Center.

How the 40% consistency rule works

Simple math: your largest single day’s profit can’t exceed 40% of your total profit at the moment you request a payout. Largest day ÷ total profit — that’s the whole formula. The Help Center’s own example: a $800 best day against $2,500 total profit works out to 32%, which passes. And after every approved payout the calculation resets from your new balance, so one monster day early in the account doesn’t haunt you forever. Source.

How the drawdown works

How Intraday Trailing drawdown behaves: it’s monitored in real time and includes unrealized profit — the threshold is your highest account value (open positions included) minus the max drawdown. It ratchets up the moment you print a new high, and touching the threshold at any point during the day breaches the account. It’s the stricter model, which is also why these accounts price cheaper.

The scaling plan (funded accounts)

Funded accounts don’t start at full size. Your available contract limit scales with the simulated profit in the account, recalculated at the end of each session (never mid-day), until you unlock your plan’s maximum. It doesn’t apply during evaluation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the Velocity plan cost?

Base pricing runs $79/month (25K) to $325/month (150K). The Daily Payout Add-On adds $29–$69/month by size. Promos frequently cut these — Velocity has run at 80% off with code FFF.

How often can I request a payout on Velocity?

Standard Velocity requires 3 trading days between payouts. With the Daily Payout Add-On, payout eligibility becomes daily — and the consistency rule is removed.

Does Velocity have a consistency rule?

Yes: 40% during the evaluation and 40% on the standard funded account, resetting after each approved payout. The Daily Payout Add-On removes the funded consistency rule entirely.

What drawdown does Velocity use?

Intraday trailing drawdown on every Velocity account, in evaluation and funded.
