Futures Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule (Eval and Funded), 2026

Written and fact-checked by the Funded Futures Family team. Competitor rules are quoted from each firm’s published help center as of September 4, 2026. Last reviewed September 4, 2026.

A consistency rule caps how much of your total profit can come from a single day. Most “no consistency rule” lists never say which stage they mean. On the pages we could verify across seven firms, the plans that matter most for payouts are the ones with no rule on the funded account, where it decides when you can withdraw. FFF Velocity with the Daily Payout add-on removes the funded rule entirely. Take Profit Trader PRO, Tradeify Select Flex and Select Daily, Alpha Futures Advanced, Lucid Flex and Daily, and Topstep Live also have none on the funded account, with a rule on the way in. FFF Premier+ with Fast Pass is consistency-free on the evaluation, and on the funded account too for accounts bought before September 9, 2026; newer Premier+ funded accounts carry a 40% rule.

What a consistency rule actually does

The formula is the same almost everywhere: largest single-day profit divided by total net profit, measured when you request a payout or try to pass. If the result is over the plan’s percentage, you are not eligible yet.

Worked example on a 50K account with $3,000 in total profit under a 40% rule. The largest day you can have is $1,200, because $1,200 divided by $3,000 is exactly 40%. A $1,500 day would be 50%, so you would need to keep trading until total profit reaches $3,750 before that day drops to 40% of the whole.

Some firms count exactly 40% as a pass. Others require the number to be strictly below the threshold. Alpha Futures, Apex, and Take Profit Trader use “below” wording on at least one stage, so a day sitting exactly on the line does not qualify there. Tradeify accepts a day sitting exactly on its limit. A few dollars can change the answer.

Apex legacy accounts bought before March 1, 2026 run a different 30% rule that ends after the sixth payout. Lucid did not publish a LucidPro evaluation percentage on the pages we fetched, so that cell is left open rather than guessed.

Rules that never fail you vs rules that block payouts

Two kinds of rule hide behind the same name. The first kind moves the goalposts. Topstep’s Trading Combine says your best day should stay at or below 50% of the profit target; if it does not, the target increases and you keep trading. Take Profit Trader’s Test account works the same way, resetting the profit goal to twice your net P/L. Neither firm fails the account. The cost is time, and possibly another month of subscription.

The second kind blocks the payout button. Apex’s new PA, Tradeify Growth and Lightning, Alpha Futures Zero and Standard qualified accounts, LucidPro, and Topstep’s XFA consistency path all keep the account alive but refuse a withdrawal until the ratio comes down. Apex’s own FAQ puts it directly: “Do I fail if I am above 50% consistency? No.” Either way, money you already made stays on the platform for a while.

What you give up for no rule

Firms that drop the rule usually put a limit somewhere else. On FFF Premier+, payouts are capped at 50% of profit per request, up to $1,000 on a 25K account. Tradeify Lightning skips the evaluation and replaces it with a 20, 25, 30 ladder on the first three payouts. Topstep’s XFA Standard path has no percentage, and instead asks for five winning days of $150 or more and caps each payout at $2,000 on 50K, versus $3,000 on the consistency path. Alpha Futures Advanced, the one Alpha plan with no funded rule, carries a 40% rule on the evaluation.

FFF Premier+ with Fast Pass costs $114 per month for a 25K intraday account or $144 EOD, against $89 and $119 for Premier+ Standard, which keeps a 50% evaluation rule. On Velocity, removing the funded 40% rule means the Daily Payout add-on at $29 to $69 per month. Run your own numbers in the prop firm cost calculator before assuming the rule-free option is the cheaper one over a year.

Where Funded Futures Family stands

Premier+ with Fast Pass has no consistency rule on the evaluation, can be passed in one day, and caps each payout request at 50% of profit; funded accounts bought from September 9, 2026 carry a 40% rule. Premier+ Standard costs less and applies a 50% rule during the evaluation only. Prime is the reverse: nothing on the evaluation, then 40% on funded payouts, recalculated from your new balance after each approved payout. Velocity runs 40% at both stages unless you add Daily Payout, and Straight to Funded skips the evaluation in exchange for the strictest rule at 25%. All of these plans share no activation fee, no daily loss limit, and a 90/10 split. The FFF Labs plans launched on October 5, 2026 include S2F Sniper 25K, which has no evaluation, no consistency rule on the funded account and no daily loss limit. S2F Payday 50K applies 40% with a $1,000 daily loss limit, and Accelerate 25K applies 25%. Full terms are in the rules explainer.

Frequently asked questions

What is a consistency rule at a prop firm?

It is a cap on how much of your total profit may come from your single best day. The firm divides your largest daily profit by your total net profit and compares the result with a threshold, most often 30% to 50%. If your ratio is above the line, you cannot pass the evaluation or request a payout until more profit brings it down. It exists so a firm is not funding, or paying, an account built on one outlier session.

Does the consistency rule apply to evaluations?

Sometimes, and most lists skip this detail. Apex new evaluations, Tradeify Growth, Alpha Futures Zero, FFF Prime, and FFF Premier+ with Fast Pass have no evaluation rule. Topstep’s Combine, Take Profit Trader’s Test, Lucid Flex and Daily, Alpha Standard, and FFF Premier+ Standard use 50%. Tradeify Select, Alpha Advanced, and FFF Velocity use 40%. Check both columns in the matrix above before you buy.

What happens if you break a consistency rule?

At every firm in this comparison, the account survives. What changes is your eligibility. In an evaluation at Topstep or Take Profit Trader, the profit target rises and you keep trading. On a funded account at Apex, Tradeify, Alpha Futures, Lucid, or Topstep’s XFA consistency path, the payout request is unavailable until your largest day is a small enough share of total profit. The one caveat we found is on Apex legacy accounts, where the compliance page says repeated or blatant violations can forfeit payouts.

Which futures prop firms have no consistency rule on funded accounts?

Based on help center pages checked on September 4, 2026: Take Profit Trader PRO and PRO+, Tradeify Select, Select Flex, and Select Daily, Alpha Futures Advanced qualified accounts, LucidFlex and LucidDaily funded accounts, Topstep’s XFA Standard payout path and Live Funded Account, and FFF Velocity with the Daily Payout add-on. FFF Premier+ (Fast Pass and Standard) accounts bought before September 9, 2026 also qualify; Premier+ accounts from that date carry a 40% funded rule. Among FFF plans, Premier+ Fast Pass has no rule on the evaluation. Each of these plans limits payouts some other way, so read the payout policy alongside the rule.

Since October 5, 2026, FFF S2F Sniper 25K in FFF Labs also has no consistency rule on its funded account, with no evaluation in front of it. It limits payouts with a $2,500 profit requirement between requests instead.
