Tradeify Consistency Rule by Plan: Growth, Select, Lightning (2026)

Tradeify’s consistency rule depends on the plan. Growth Sim Funded accounts follow a 35% rule (the Growth evaluation has none). Select evaluations follow a 40% rule, and Select Flex and Select Daily funded accounts have none. Lightning Funded accounts bought after September 12, 2025 follow a ladder of 20%, 25%, then 30% by payout number. Current as of September 4, 2026.
How the Tradeify consistency rule works
Tradeify uses one definition across every plan and changes only the percentage: “no single day’s profit (commissions are not included in profit) should exceed a set percentage of the trader’s total profits.” The rule is inclusive: “19.97% meets a 20% rule, and exactly 20.00% meets it too. The window runs from your first day of trading to the payout request date and resets after each approved payout. The rule “only determines when you can request a payout – it does NOT restrict your trading in any way.” Your account will not fail for a big day.

Growth
Growth puts the rule on the funded side only. The Growth evaluation “does NOT have a consistency rule at any stage.” The Growth funded payout policy asks you to “Abide by the 35% Consistency Rule,” post five profitable days of $150 or more on a 50K, and hold a minimum balance of $53,000. Select
Select flips it. The rule applies “during the evaluation phase only. There is no consistency rule for Select accounts in funded mode.” The 40% eval rule is why Select requires a minimum of three trading days. Lightning Funded
Lightning is a straight-to-funded product, so the rule applies from day one. Accounts purchased after September 12, 2025 at 8:00 AM EST follow a ladder: 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second, and 30% from the third onward. There is no minimum trading day count. Worked example on a 50K account with $3,000 profit
Growth funded at 35%: largest day allowed is $1,050. Select evaluation at 40%: $1,200. A $1,500 day would need $4,286 total on Growth funded or $3,750 on a Select eval. Lightning Funded after the September 2025 change: $600 for the first payout, $750 for the second, $900 from the third. Select Flex and Select Daily funded: no limit. In every case, going over means you wait to request rather than lose the account.
What changed
The Lightning ladder is the dated change. Before September 12, 2025, every Lightning Funded payout used a flat 20% rule, and accounts bought before that cutoff “maintain the original 20% Consistency Rule for all payouts.” Accounts bought after it start at 20% and loosen to 25% and then 30%. The purchase timestamp decides which version you are on.
Firms that do not have this rule
Funded Futures Family’s Premier+ with Fast Pass has no consistency rule on the evaluation, with 1 day to pass; funded accounts bought from September 9, 2026 carry a 40% rule. The trade-off is a higher monthly price than Standard Premier+ ($114 intraday or $144 end-of-day on a 25K, versus $89 or $119 with a 50% eval-only rule) and payouts capped at 50% of profit per request, up to $1,000 on a 25K. Frequently asked questions
Which Tradeify plan has no consistency rule?
Two stages have none. The Growth evaluation has no consistency rule at any stage, and the Select funded accounts (Select Flex and Select Daily) list “Consistency Rule: None.” No single Tradeify plan is rule-free end to end: Growth applies 35% once funded, and Select applies 40% during the evaluation. If avoiding the rule on the funded side matters most, look at Select. If you want no rule while proving yourself, Growth is the one.
Does a big day fail my Tradeify account?
No. Tradeify’s help center says the consistency rule “does NOT restrict your trading in any way” and that your account “will not fail or be penalized.” The only effect is on timing: you cannot request a payout until your biggest day sits at or below the percentage for your plan. Since the window resets after each approved payout, a large day at the start of a new cycle means accumulating more profit before requesting again.
Is exactly 40% a pass on a Select evaluation?
Yes. Tradeify states that a figure at or below the limit meets the rule and gives 20.00% on a 20% rule as an example of a pass. The same inclusive reading applies to the 40% Select evaluation rule and the 35% Growth funded rule. Only a figure strictly above the limit fails. On a 50K Select evaluation with $3,000 in profit, a $1,200 best day is exactly 40% and passes; a $1,201 day does not until total profit reaches $3,002.50.
